The tourism industry is one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic industries worldwide. In fact, it’s also one of the largest, accounting for 10% of global GDP and directly or indirectly employing one in every 10 working adults. Because of its vast scope, there are numerous sub-industries within the broader field of tourism. These include adventure, cultural, eco, outdoors, fair trade, faith-based, film and video, food and drink, nature, sporting events, and several others.
